Oral presentation - stock market! Help..

So I have to do an oral presentation on the stock market for my Hist II class. Just a quick bit on the history (where it came from, crashes, etc) and then go into detail on how to invest, just the basics. buy x sell and how it works # x #
also how to get involved with an online broker.

anything else you guys can think to add?

I was thinking about the taxes like the times you hold vs. tax you pay.. i don't know what it is tho..... News vs. Tech and Penny, mids and Big..

How long is the presentation supposed to be? I mean, jez, no way you can cover everything about the market in 10 minutes. LOL

You might consider condensing it down to just a few specific things instead of trying to broadly cover everything. For instance, the difference between fundamental vs. technical trading.
