Mesa is on the verge of a breakout. If it takes out .30 it should be a mover. Volume has moved into the stock. I will be looking for an entry. I only trade short term.

Breifly looking over the news on MESA it doesn't look so bad. I will be doing more DD before the bell.

Mesa to fight Delta Air Lines suit to end contract with Mesa and Freedom

NEW YORK (AP) -- Mesa Air Group Inc. said Friday it will fight Delta Air Lines Inc.'s attempt to end its contract with the regional airline and Mesa subsidiary Freedom Airlines Inc.

Delta filed suit Aug. 19 seeking to end the Delta Connection Agreement with Mesa and Freedom, claiming Freedom breached the contract.

But in a filing Friday with the Securities and Exchange Commission, Mesa said it "vehemently denies" there is any basis for Delta's request.

Mesa said it "intends to vigorously defend its rights" and expects to countersue Delta. It accuses the world's biggest airline operator of "bad faith actions" and breaches of contract.

Mesa said Freedom's alleged contract breach relates to Delta's efforts to cut costs at Freedom.

"Freedom believes that Delta's claims are wholly without merit and are a direct effort by Delta to circumvent the injunction prohibiting Delta from terminating Freedom's Connection Agreement," Mesa's filing said.

Mesa shares rose 2 cents, or 11 percent, to 25 cents after-hours electronic trading Friday.

MESA can make money without Delta, also Hawaiin Go! will become profitable, they may divert a few planes to there. I see MESA making great progress and will definitely report nice profits to come. I wouldn't be surprised to MESA in the $1s in 3 weeks.

Hawaiian Go! was losing $4M a quarter, or negative $0.04 per share, that's the bulk of MESA's losses all these years, if they turn that around and report nice profits on Go!, due to a competitor closing shop, that's gonna be a huge bottomline driver for MESA, maybe a nice $0.10 EPS swing per quarter, or $0.40 per year, multiply this by 10 PE, equate to $4 per share swing

draw the trendline on the recent consolidation and this is where I woulod enter.
