I believe the HUGE CRASH from .01 to .0053 today was because of 1 person selling everything... KNOWING the news will come out and drum up the pps... So, he being in probably much lower than .0053, dumps it all on the bid as it goes down using mkt sell style, and now buys back in, news gets posted around and gets out to the 'people' and the 'public' and he is sitting pretty all over again; and it hits .014 or something! All over again. I bought back in and now Im green at .007! Just hope this works out like my gamble, er I mean, investment with SPNG that worked to make 10% instead of losing 25% on Friday.... Get in now and hold it folks... IMO IMO IMO!

I agree with your thinking, until we see some real volume trading 200,000 shares we are not getting a clear picture of where the stock is "at"! Also the large spread of 0.006 & 0.009 (right now) with 3 MM's at 0.009 are a sign to me that the stock will go upward!

Something is happening at NPWS, perhaps it is now being touted by their new Board member! Over 3 million shares traded already today!
I sold 4/5 of my position at 0.0145 so I'm now even with a "free" 10,000 now!

NEAH Successfully Tests Anaerobic Direct Methanol Fuel Cell Prototype
BOTHELL, Wash., June 25, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- NEAH Power Systems, Inc. (OTCBB:NPWS), the Company developing fuel cells for the military and portable electronic devices, announced today it has successfully demonstrated a new type of low cost, high reliability and power, liquid electrolyte based direct methanol fuel cell that does not require air to operate. This is the first major innovation in fuel cell technology in over 20 years, where a repeatable, reliable non-PEM based system has been successfully introduced and demonstrated in sustained operation.
The prototype was self contained and sized to generate 8W of gross power, fuel cartridges were replaced multiple times and repeatable performance demonstrated. A video of the technology, markets that NEAH serves, and demonstration of the technology will be posted on YouTube, as well as on the company's website, Neah Power Systems, and NEAH has invited any interested parties to visit the company to see the system in operation.
"We are thankful to the Office of Naval Research for funding significant portions of this research. This technology is singular in that it can operate in places where air isn't available," Dr. Chris D'Couto, NEAH's President and Chief Executive Officer, noted. "This system can service many specialized markets, such as underwater and surface water manned and unmanned vehicles, as well as numerous aerospace applications, and will be the building block for fuel cell solutions for Hobie Cat and other key customers." NEAH fuel cells operate in both an aerobic and anaerobic manner. "Our micro fuel cells may eventually replace batteries for most uses," D'Couto said, "meaning that cost-efficient and 'green' technology is at hand to not only preserve the environment, but to provide nearly perpetual power to the military, manufacturers of almost any product that require an energy source, and to the millions of consumers who require energy on the go."

NEAH to Develop Fuel Cell Charger for India's EKO Vehicles
1:29p ET June 30, 2009 (GlobeNewswire)
NEAH Power Systems, Inc., (OTCBB:NPWS) Neah Power Systems, the company leading development in fuel cells for the military and portable electronic devices, announced today it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with EKO Vehicles of Bangalore, India, ( :: EKO VEHICLES ::), India's number one producer of two-wheeled electric vehicles, to explore joint development of an on-board methanol fuel cell battery charger for their line of battery-powered electric scooters based on NEAH's novel anaerobic direct methanol fuel cell prototype.
NEAH, which successfully demonstrated a new type of low cost, high reliability and power, liquid electrolyte based direct methanol fuel cell that does not require air to operate, will adapt its technology for EKO's new line of EV 60 electric scooters. This second generation product is already being sold in the United States, Europe, and Asia. A video of the technology, markets that Neah serves and demonstration of the technology can be seen on YouTube, as well as on the company's website.
"This is a great opportunity to help reduce pollution in one of the earth's most populated areas, as NEAH fuel cells operate in both aerobic and anaerobic manner," Dr. Christopher D'Couto, NEAH's CEO, said. "Our micro fuel cells may eventually replace batteries for most uses."
"We welcome NEAH's technology as a valuable aspect of our goal to help eliminate the levels of air and noise pollution, which can be contained by the introduction and use of electric and hybrid-powered vehicles for short distance transportation in our cities, towns and villages," said Mr. Anil Ananthakrishna, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of EKOVEHICLES Pvt. Ltd.

NEAH Power Systems, Inc. (OTCBB:NPWS), the Company developing fuel cells for the military and portable electronic devices, announced today that it has achieved yet another major breakthrough with the demonstration of an air based fuel cell for aerobic applications. This system, when fully developed, is expected to have higher energy density than any incumbent direct methanol anaerobic fuel cell available today, and could enable NEAH to pursue various additional consumer markets.
"This technology is differentiated in performance and architecture," said Dr. Chris D'Couto, NEAH's President and Chief Executive Officer, "in that it combines NEAH's unique liquid electrolyte and 3D silicon electrode technology, with the manifold inherent benefits in cost and manufacturability of integrated circuit manufacturing, with proton conduction membrane for proton conduction and gas liquid separation. In so doing, NEAH has created the first hybrid electrolyte fuel cell achieving gains over either liquid or solid electrolyte technology. Our micro fuel cells may eventually replace batteries for most uses."
On June 25th 2009, NEAH revealed it had successfully tested an anaerobic (or non-air breathing) direct methanol fuel cell which was primarily funded by the Office of Naval Research.
