Default Is the media forcing bad news?

Is it just me or has anyone noticed all the different media outlets taking such a negative approach that it would be laughable if it wasn't so expensive?

They can't say anything positive. Its like they love misery. They could report a man winning 100 million and here would be the headline:

Alabama Man Wins 100 Million But Taxes Will Get Most Of The Money

Here are a few examples from the real financial news:

While Wall Street enjoys its relief rally Tuesday, stocks face looming danger from a familiar foe: tightening of credit.

CNBC: Citigroup Sparks Big Rally, But the Pros Are Skeptical

CNBC: Union Debate Could Put Wal-Mart Rally on Strike

Every day the news is filled with this type of headline. Its no wonder the market is down. These guys make you feel like jumping off a cliff.

Just start to notice the headlines. CNBC is the champ at putting a negative spin on everything.

Well, yes, I see this too. However, isn't every new sources' first reports always negative news? I turn on the TV news and the first 10 - 15 minutes are always all about war, murders, rapes and so on. Newspaper headlines are almost always about something negative. Bad news apparently makes news outlets more money than good news.... a sad joke, LoL. As if there isn't ever any good news worth reporting....?

Of course, it helps push the lefts agenda....fear, panic, doom...pass all those earmarks or the world as we know it will end. Fear and negativity sells! They won't be satisfied until we are a full-out nation of socialists with the government supplying us with all we need.....BAH. It doesn't help having the MOST negative president in the history of the US. Instead of being upbeat and positive, he spreads and fuels the fear to further his socialist agenda.
