Any opinions on where we go from here? The Dow is currently down about 150. Historically the market performs better under a democratic president. Will this be the case?

On a side note, I am already feeling the "CHANGE"....in my portfolio today... its all red.

I have no idea if Obama's being elected will have good or bad influence over the stock market, at least in the short term. If I were him, I'd get some smart people on his staff, like the oil billionaire from Texas and other knowledgeable people who could really make a difference in making the US's economy stronger once again.

I'm guessing we'll have to wait at least 6 months before we get any real indication as to whether or not he will make any direct difference in the economy.

Let's see.....two days in a row the market falls after Obama elected. Get ready, here we go back to the volatile, super bear market. We'll see the DOW around 8000 soon IMO. With the liberals in control of everything we're screwed as investors....end of story. Higher taxes, increased legislation and weak on defense. I can't wait to watch Obama and Pelosi completely screw us with their socialist adgenda. Why bother working hard and being successful? We'd be better off sitting at home and letting "the system" take care of all our needs. Hell, I think I'll take up smoking meth and enjoy the life the liberals want to give us!
