I'm kicking myself today......:mad: Two weeks ago I bought 1300 shares of Vonage @ .99 and got tired of holding it with nothing happening so I sold 1000 @ 1.03 leaving me only 300.

Today the company announced a settlement with Sprint and its currently @ 2.19 up 90% for the day. I couldn't resist and bought 500 @ 1.85 but its still not like the 1300 I had @ .99

They are paying out a ton of cash but it looks like this settlement is just what investors were looking for

Two weeks ago it wasn't doing anything to talk about..... thats why I sold 1000 way to low.

Trust me if I had any clue this was coming I would have loaded up instead of unloading and told the world ;)

I'm still kicking!!!!!!!!!!! Just think if I had held the 1300 shares from .99 a 1287.00 investment would have cashed in today at closing for 3341.00 :mad:

I expected them to find a loop but not that fast. Watch for a deal close to this with Verizon.

editing post completely now b/c doing more than just checking pps and am kinda getting that all of this litigation between vonage/verizon/sprint just may work out down the road that is if all end up being in a business together, which may end up being the end result (kinda get that verizon is screwed and is gonna have a hard time getting that kind of money awarded again).... am definitely not forgetting to put this on watch in the morning and if it pulls back to $1 land then i'll be on it this time but have a feeling this may be seeing some better prices in the future >>> so aufan you just may get another op to make even more money :o

"Vonage announced today that the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit today partially remanded a March 8th jury verdict in the U.S. District Court in Alexandria, Va. that the company infringed on three Verizon patents. The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit remanded the infringement verdict on the 880 patent and affirmed the verdict on the 574 and 711 patents. Further, the Court of Appeals vacated the entire award of $58 million in damages and the 5.5% royalty. "...The parties have entered into an agreement to resolve this patent dispute as well as entered into a business relationship. In addition, Sprint has agreed to license Vonage its VOP portfolio.

The agreement is valued at $80 million, including $35 million for past use of license, $40 million for a fully paid future license, and $5 million in prepayment for services...."

I hope so you are right........:D These are all big companies with big $$$$$ so I can't see anything other than some type of deal between them. To me it looks like a win for everyone

lol hope i'm right too and think company is thinking the same.... lot's of insider activity has been going - check all the form 4 filings for last few months.. didn't open all links but ones for sept look like lots of acquiring :D http://www.sec.gov/cgi-bin/browse-ed...ion=getcompany
