Ru gave me this pick last night and said it was under valued. He said he expected it to start moving and it has. I placed it in Ru's picks @ 8.63 this morning before the opening and it has now climbed to a high today of 9.46.
This is one of the hottest sectors in the market right now. Hopefully this will make a nice bounce.  |

Taking a dive for some reason. My stop kicked in @ 16.30 but I will rebuy. Hoping for below 15.50

I've been watching this as a pincher in the making. The problem has been no support in sight. Now it is approaching $6.50 and it should catch some there. Possible entry point for me. The Dow is looking very weak and that will keep me on my toes with ANY entries (except for bear plays), but WNR is certainly worth a radar from here on forward, IMO.

Soleil Securities upgrades Western Refining (NYSE: WNR) from Hold to Buy. Price target $10. Soleil analyst says, "Upgrade to Buy from Hold on a price basis as the stock is down 52% month-to-date (vs. a 25% average decline for the refiner peer group and a 3% drop in the S&P 500). Raising '09E to $1.35 from $1.10 due to an improvement in the Phoenix market and lower interest and maintenance expenses but no change '10E$1.00...The stock is currently trading at 3.9X09E EV/EBITDA vs. the peer group average of 4.9X and the historical trading range of 4-6X." Nice....thanks for the bump man! I'm in at 6.05, this puppy is at bottom IMO. If it doesn't turn out to be a short term play, it's a good long term bet.
