what are some good umbrella brokerage accounts?

i heard you can get like 1:10 margin when opening one of these accounts.

also, what are some fees you'd have to pay with any that you would recommend; such as:

-exchange fees (i prefer none)
-maintance fees
-fees for trading tools (like level2, streaming quotes, streaming charts, et.c)
-et.c

also what are account minimums, i've heard 5k. that'd be 50k if the margin is 1:10! this is what i need please help my nuby arse tnx

i checked it out a bit and i found

they offer 10:1 margin
total you'll end up paying them for tools, maintanance et.c is around
$300 a month

i think that's a bargain for the amount of capital they loan via margin.

account minimum is $5,000
so if you're to open an account i'd recommend 10,000 to open
this way you can trade 1,000 shares of a stock which has a pps of 90.00-95.00 with room if you end up losing money.

still, are there any other umbrella accounts that offer this kind of margin?
i want to shop around before i get in.

i have another one, i haven't contacted them yet for detailed information of what i need to know. may be a better deal, not sure though.

I'd have replied but I just don't know anything about what you are asking. Been having a hard enough time trying to make money buying and selling stocks, without getting into something more confusing to me.
