Covanta to Redeem $6.1 Million in Senior Secured Notes Due 2010

NEW YORK (AP) -- Covanta Holding Corp., which converts solid waste into electricity, said Monday it will redeem about $6.1 million in senior secured notes.
The notes are 8.5 percent senior secured notes and 7.375 percent senior secured notes, both due in 2010.

The planned redemption will complete Covanta's debt refinancing.
