Sometimes the market misses things and this may be a hidden jewel. The analyst are all screaming BUY and Cramer put the value around 23.00.

Here is the story. Look at last weeks VM WARE ipo and what this stock has did. It was offered @ 29.00. The first trades that day were around 51.00. It has since made an almost steady climb to todays high of 73.95. It then closed at 66.85 which was another solid day.

The crazy thing here is EMC is the parent company of VMW and still owns 80% of VM WARE and is trading @ only 19.84. All the wall street analyst that I have heard are saying this is grossly under priced. Keep in mind the VM WARE ipo has been compared to Google and some are saying this software will become as important to business computers as the Windows operating system and EMC owns 80% of the company.

Check it out and read up on the story. This could be a huge winner at a cheap price.

I bought EMC when they announced the VMW IPO. If EMC owns 85% of VMW then this should be a safe long play, right? Then Sachs posted a down grade today? What's up with that? Time to buy more?

I still own some shares of EMC, but I'm a little skeptical now. GS downgraded EMC saying that share prices have risen 70% this year. And With Dell buying EqualLogic (data storage/virtualization company) today, EMC might be losing a big customer (Dell). EqualLogic plays to the small/mid-size businesses though, so I'm not sure how much, if any, Dell's acquisition will eat into EMCs earnings?!?

Bah.....EMC is a great company. I just checked Jaywalk and EMC is still a buy, I don't care what GS says. Jaywalk has: 2 Sell, 11 Hold, 11 Buy and 3 Strong Buy issued today. EMC is is strong and I'm long on them. ;)

EMC looks to be another great buy in my eyes. I sold my position to take profit, but I'm sizing it up for another buy once the tech market settles back down....it will be a bull again!
