From what I understand it's chinas first MMO IPO and judging from japan/korea gaming is huge over there specially MMO's. However this game is free so I take it they make their money advertising somehow? The PE is higher than anything else i've seen..

Yah marketing these games as free with advertising in game is the new direction MMORPGs are taking.

These can develop huge followings and create mass amounts of revenues

SecondLife is one that has been making waves- check out the amount of money being traded in the game,
Linden Labs is not publicly traded
