I'm gonna bump this. Current PPS: $52.11. You see when Thad posted this thread? 10/09/2008 with pps at the time $44.44.

Want to know where it bottomed through the March lows amidst "the greatest economic disaster since the Great Depression"? $35.59!! It barely dropped 20% from the start of this mess to the March lows! That is what you call a strong company!

If you are looking for a stable stock with a nice 2% ($1.05/share) quarterly dividend (8% divy per year) then look no further! A bit expensive for me but maybe I can scrounge up enough to get a few. Expect the next dividend to come around 10/30/09.

Matter of fact, they increased their dividend from $0.99 in July 2008 to $1.02 in October 2008 to $1.05 in January 2009
