The company is not shy about puting out Pr's from it's history. With Increasing fuel prices, Bio Fuel is hot right now and the is going to be one of many play's to make some good green from. I feel we still have a good ways to go here IMO!

JUST got off the phone with RECOPE ... Costa Rican National Oil Company. They have CONFIRMED that in a couple of months Pan Am Fueling (AKA AMHD) will be supplying BIODIESEL to the monopolized Costa Rican OIL COMPANY!!!!!!!

In September 2006, the Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Environment and Energy of Costa Rica established a unified National Commission on Biofuels (Comisión Nacional de Biocombustibles) under Decree No. 33357.62 The decree repealed Decree No. 31087 of 2003 and Decree No. 31818 of 2004 which hadpreviously established two separate Commissions, the Technical Commission on Ethanol and the Technical Commission on Biodiesel.

Under Decree No. 33357, the commission is composed of representatives from various ministries and other public and private institutions involved in the production of biofuels. It is responsible for proposing an action plan containing strategies over the short and long term to encourage the use of biofuels in Costa Rica in cooperation with the Ministry of Environment and Energy and the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock. The commission is also mandated to carry out monitoring activities. Finally, it is responsible for proposing any reforms needed to ensure an appropriate legal framework to promote biofuels in the country.
