To be honest with you all i think this is a good move.I really was not that impressed with Bhaman.Mr. Welch seems to be a well experienced executive.

Perhaps there was talk about replacing Bhaman. And knowing that someone else could do his job better, he resigned so he could sit on the board and still be a part of tdcp. That's what I would do if Martin was about to fire me. I would still want to be part of the 3d love train.

TULSA, Okla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--3DIcon Corporation (OTCBB: TDCP - News) yesterday announced that Vivek Bhaman, its president, chief operating officer, and treasurer, has resigned from his management posts for personal reasons not related to 3DIcon, effective February 3, 2009. Mr. Bhaman will remain on the company's board of directors and will serve as a consultant on special projects.


The board of directors of the company appointed James Welsh, Tulsa-based financial and management consultant to 3DIcon, as the company’s interim chief operating officer and treasurer. His appointment shall be effective as of March 1, 2009.

Mr. Bhaman, a specialist in bringing new technologies to market, led the company through several major milestones, including the creation of a working prototype of 3DIcon's breakthrough 3D imaging technology CSpace®; the launch of 3DIcon's first commercialized software product, Pixel Precision®, which has produced the company's first technology-based revenues; 3DIcon's first major licensing agreement for CSpace; and an international sales and distribution agreement for Pixel Precision.

Vivek's departure is a GOOD thing! The company needs someone with a more specific and proven finance background to improve 3DICON's financial status. The fact that the company has invited him to sit on the board and that he accepted shows that they're parting on good terms. You don't ask someone that you're about to fire to stay in any capacity. I believe that Vivek still has a substantial interest in stock options so it's a given that he wants them to succeed.

All we need now to get the pps back up is an announcement of contracts and the product to support those contracts and this rocket is launched.

For a start-up, 3DICON sounds on track. Sure they've had their delays but it's a difficult technology to develop and to sell to investors. However, don't confuse delayed with derailed. Don't forget that MK, Vivek, Dr. R and many others have their own huge financial stake in this company. I doubt that any of them will let their opportunity to be VERY rich slip through their fingers without trying everything possible to succeed.

It's far from over so don't give up now.

All, I still view this as a positive step in the right direction. Vivek did what he could do and accomplished most of what he was asked to do for 3DIcon. According to MK, He leaves for personal reasons unrelated to 3DIcon, so until someone can post facts contrary to this, I plan to step back and look at this as a positive move. Mr. Welsh's background appears to fit well with what they need in terms of the next level of financing after Golden Gate. They are done with GG in my opinion and moving forward.

I ain't buying the doom and gloom bs just yet!

... I guess the good thing for me is that I had to convert my Canadian dollars to USD to purchace TDCP. Now that our dollar is significantly lower and dropping, I'm at least recouping some of my losses!!! LOLOL! $CDN was down two cents today! SWEET!

Was doing some looking and looks like there is some progress being slowly made to ARIA having a website. Just a day or 2 ago there was really nothing when you went to Aria International Website Coming Soon. Today, it appears to be that they now aleast have a front door..

If not mistaken, pixel is what they use to run Cspace. As of the oct breakthrough release on cspace, it only projected a motionless object. Is it now save to assume that maybe cspace projections are now animated and able to move. Hopefully we see some more developments soon on cspace, but this is some good news.

I also find it interesting that its also able to be used outside of the dmd discovery. Not sure if that is what this means
