CNN's holograms not really holograms

Not a hologram...not 3D...Blitzer couldn't even see her...only the home viewers could see her. But, importantly, it again expresses societies' desire for realistic 3D. There is almost a daily reference to 3D now. My latest Popular Science Mag has an article on 3D.

I believe we will see the day when the presidential candidates will campaign by hologram. They will be able to cover many more cities and states.

Personally, I don't see how that would be much different than campaigning via video. The people would know it's not really the candidate. It's the personal touch of taking the time to visit a city or state that gets people excited.

This technology has many uses, just don't see that as one of them (at least not for presidential use)

I think its too soon to say its a floor. We've thought this thing hit bottom soooooo many times. I was thinking about jumping in around now but I might actually hold off a bit.
