VG - Vonage Holdings (NYSE Stock)
I'm kicking myself today...... Two weeks ago I bought 1300 shares of Vonage @ .99 and got tired of holding it with nothing happening so I sold 1000 @ 1.03 leaving me only 300.
Today the company announced a settlement with Sprint and its currently @ 2.19 up 90% for the day. I couldn't resist and bought 500 @ 1.85 but its still not like the 1300 I had @ .99
They are paying out a ton of cash but it looks like this settlement is just what investors were looking for

I'm still kicking!!!!!!!!!!! Just think if I had held the 1300 shares from .99 a 1287.00 investment would have cashed in today at closing for 3341.00
I expected them to find a loop but not that fast. Watch for a deal close to this with Verizon.

Re: VG... Vonage Holdings
52-Week Low: 57 cents
Current PPS: 63 cents
Day Range: 63-69 cents (not very exciting)
Thought I would bump this. Anybody see a recovery happening anytime soon? There is another lawsuit pending against Vonage. As a matter of fact VG was just over $1 on December 18th (3 weeks ago) before the lawsuit was announced.
4th quarter earnings are due out the week of February 9th, 2009

Re: VG... Vonage Holdings
Today's close: 39 cents
52-week low: 38 cents
Quote:
NYSE to Vonage: Get That Market Cap Back Up or Else
Vonage Holdings Corp.’s (VG) market cap has dropped by $2.2 billion since May 25, 2006 – the day after the VoIP provider went public – and now is holding at around $76.8 million.
That’s prompted the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) to warn Vonage to get its market cap at or above $100 million or get kicked off the exchange.
The NYSE on Feb. 9 reminded Vonage that a company’s average global market cap has to total at least $100 million for 30 consecutive trading days. In a Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filing, Vonage said that, within 45 days, it will give the NYSE a roadmap “that demonstrates the company’s ability to regain compliance within 18 months.”
At that point, the NYSE has another 45 days to determine whether it will accept Vonage’s plan. If the NYSE does the proposal, it will monitor Vonage for compliance. If it doesn’t, Vonage will face suspension or delisting.
In the meantime, Vonage shares will continue trading as normal. Vonage said in its SEC document that its business operations, credit agreements and SEC reporting requirements are not affected by the NYSE notice.
This isn’t the first time Vonage has been chastised by the NYSE. Late last October, the Exchange told Vonage to get its share prices above the minimum $1 requirement within six months or face delisting. Vonage is headed into its fourth month of less-than-ideal stock prices – at 11:15 a.m. Eastern today, the company’s shares were trading for 49 cents.
