Statoil ASA (Statoil) is an integrated energy company based in Norway with locations in approximately 42 other countries worldwide. The Company is primarily engaged in oil and gas exploration and production activities. As of December 31, 2010, the Company had proved reserves of 2,124 million barrels (mmbbl) of oil and 509 billion cubic meters (bcm) (equivalent to 18 trillion cubic feet (tcf)) of natural gas, corresponding to aggregate proved reserves of 5,325 million barrels of oil equivalent (mmboe). The Company operates in six business segments: Exploration and Production Norway (EPN), International Exploration and Production (INT), Natural Gas (NG), Manufacturing and Marketing (M&M), Fuel and Retail, and Other. In July 2010, Statoil ASA sold its Tampnet subsidiary to HitecVision.

This company pays a dividend ONCE a year and it's usually over $1. I'm going to keep an eye open for the annoucement and either play the divy or the run up in the PPS. We should see an announcement about the divy in April.

Yea, but you only have to hold this a short time to either play the divy OR the run-up.
