Stock manipulation?

Are there obvious ways to tell if a stock is being manipulated? I'm watching ETAK.. It just had a bunch of buys come in at $1.87, like 1500 shares spaced out in 12 dif buys over 20 seconds. Then a sell came in and took it straight down to $1.83 on a 100 block sale one second later.. followed by buys at $1.85.. How can a stock trading on low/average volume just drop like that?

O and every time there is a sell its only for 100 shares and there is a buy right behind it..

Marketmakers pretty much do whatever they want to do to make money for themselves.

Yup, as BadThad said. I feel this is what big banks do with FOREX to make profits, just buying/selling/manipulating each other to bring it up and down a few cents.
