Default Where to trade - UK

Hi everyone,

I am relatively new to trading and am still learning.

I would like to open an account, but wasn't sure where was best. - I am based in the UK; ideally only want to deposit a small amount to start with (so low as possible commisions!).

Also, is it best to look for data/charts with the trading software or seperately?

If there is any other advice you can offer, please do so!!

Thanks a lot
Nick

Unless you are American it is not easy to open an account in USA, I am Italian and I did try with the most important USA brokers but no luck and at the same time if you manage to hold/open an American trading account you are liable to Americans Taxes and you could also get the English as well (it would apply in Italy ….not sure in UK)
I do USA trading with my Italian bank but got high commissions($20 x trade) and only allow to trade in NYSE and NASDAQ and not all stocks
At the moment I am simulating on an Etrade (Italy) platform and if I like better then my actual one I shall go with them.(cheaper commissions, L2 and all USA markets etc…)
Check out the English Etrade and you can hold an English account and trade in the USA
Hoping that help and most of all hoping you understand what I am try to say….

Let me know if I can all it is not clear…. and as Fireopal suggest check that link and find more info...
