Default stocks to SHORT - hype, high PPS, P&D's, mailers, double tops

This thread is for stocks to short.
I picked GWSO over the weekend on another board and it tanked hard on the mailer pump......some of these are such no brainers.......

I find it easier to make money shorting than buying.

With interactive brokers, you can short pennies, buyt only if you have a margin account and that can cover 2.50 per share you buy..... in other words, if I short a stock for 2000 shares, I have to have 2000X 2.50= $12,500 in my account, so I look for stocks over .20 to short becasue we would need a ton of money to make it worth shorting the subbies in our accounts, so this thread is for stocks over .20 to short.....

any mailers, pump and dumps, lebed pumps, etc, over .20 a share are great to short. I more so look for stocks over .50 per share to short......

double top patterns are excellent to short as well

So what do you need to short stocks over .20 or .50?

Shorting really sounds good to me.

for info for those that think about going short

I have been always scare about shorting but I thought it could be money making in reverse trend I simulated for a long time, then when I was more sure and getting better I started with small money then increased and here I am more confident and make few $$$€€€£££

IMO it is like going long but one has to get the right tendency on the shares because sometime it is a false alarm

my moto "never chase the minimum and sell at the maximun" since I have learn that, I make more money...
but remember I am not a pro... just someone who like trading... but make some money... ;)

the good thing of a serious forum is that one help the other
like this SMC where there isn't any de/rumpers and any of
"mine is bigger then your" attitudes...
lets keep it that way, we will be millionaire.... wishful thinking

If I may...2 questions?

What is a mailer?

Do you have to call the broker to short a stock? I use Banc of America Investments and do all the trading myself? Can I use BOA to short stocks or do I need a ETRADE or similar ACCT?

Thanks all. I am interested in this and doing research, I appreciate all the info.
