This one took a mad rush out of the gates from its IPO.

Data Domain (DDUP - Cramer's Take - Stockpickr), which provides data backup and disaster-recovery systems, rocketed 66% in its first day of trading Wednesday. The 7.4 million shares priced at $15 apiece and gained $9.95 on the day, closing at $24.95.

It then fell back but has been placing nice gains on the board each day. Looks to be gaining attention from investors. Watch her close, the tech field is hot again.

I'll be damned, a decent IPO finally. I'm going to watch it closely and do more research, but it sure looks good. Thanks AUFan!

Looks like DDUP is getting beatup today, down over 1%. I'm keeping an eye out for a good time to buy-in.....for now....let her drop!

I like this play and have it on the streamer watching it every day. I think if you are patient (which I'm not) you may be able to enter between 24.00 & 25.00. The chart don't have much of a history but that area looks solid.

Lol aufan, last time I was all in in a stock, as Borat would say "it was not very niiiice..." As to DDUP, it could go places, but it's hard to read a chart consisting of 9 bars...

short it, it is coming back down......probably by the end of next week. Good company to be in, overall though. There will be much more of this needed as we all switch to terabyte drives in the next 5-10 years especially with the large amount of space dedicated to picture and video of familial origin, of course.

Well, well.....this has been one helluv a stock up to now. Once it settles down, this might just be a very good buy. This critical PR was released today....man....what a BOMB for shareholders.

Down 8.5% this morning......<rubbing hands>.....I want in this once it's done dropping. Just look at the PPS history of this stock! ;)
