Big Business: The size of the solar energy market is expanding at an astounding rate. The overall market for solar power grew 39% in 2006 to $15.6 billion and is projected to grow to $69.3 billion by 2016, an overall growth of more than 344% (Source: Clean Edge). Trendsetter Solar Products has been a part of this industry for nearly thirty years, and its management team has the background and experience to take advantage of the tremendous growth rate and emerging opportunities in this rapidly expanding industry. Industry observer Solarbuzz has set out three scenarios for the 5-year period from 2007-2011 that yield a range of annual worldwide industry revenues of between $18.6 Billion and $31.5 Billion by 2011 (Source: Solarbuzz).

TrendSetter Solar Products Contributes to Santa Clara University's Success In ``Solar Decathlon 2007''
09:00 a.m. 10/31/2007 Provided by

FAIRHAVEN, Calif., Oct 31, 2007 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- TrendSetter Solar Products, Inc. (Pink Sheets:TSSP) announced today that the Solar Decathlon 2007 competition results are in and the Company's product contribution supported Santa Clara University third place finish in the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Solar Decathlon.

The DOE selected twenty college and university teams from around the globe for this cutting-edge competition. These higher-education institutions participate in ten contests (architecture, engineering, market viability, communications, comfort zone, appliances, hot water, lighting, energy balance and getting around) in an unparalleled solar competition to design, build, and operate the most attractive and energy-efficient solar-powered home. A competition requirement was for the teams to transport their solar houses to the National Mall in Washington, D.C. where they assembled a solar village.

Using only energy from the sun, the teams generated enough electricity to run a modern household. With an eye on energy efficiency, the students carefully choose the systems, products, and appliances used in their houses. Santa Clara University utilized TrendSetter's Hot water heating tank in this contest and the Santa Clara team received a full 100 points (maximum in the category) placing them in first place in this category. "The use of TrendSetter's Hot Water system by the Santa Clara University team in the 2007 Solar Decathlon was an important piece of their success. The high score they received in the hot water heater category helps validate that TrendSetter has a quality product," stated TrendSetter CEO Dirk Atkinson.

TrendSetter Solar Products, Inc. recently announced an audio interview with CEO Dirk Atkinson, where he discussed details of recent company developments for the benefit of shareholders and the investment community alike. His focus was on developments that are especially encouraging to the Company and the solar energy industry as a whole and about the recent landmark piece of legislation (Bill AB1470) signed October 12, 2007, by California Governor Arnold Schwarznegger creating the Solar Water Heating and Efficiency Act of 2007. This audio interview is still available to listeners on www.stockbully.com .
