I was explaining a bit of the market to a coworker and showed them
Google Finance as a DD tool. They were confused when I showed them the "Top Movers" section on the page and the fact that I'm most interested in the "Losers". LOL
They asked "Don't you want to invest in the top gainers?". Well, of course not....those stocks have more than likely already run their course I told him. The bargins are typically found in the losers section, lots of good companies see their stock beaten down. If the company is solid, this is nothing more than a flag to a "sale price" on their stock. That's when you WANT TO BUY, not when the price is up! :D
