Chevron Announces Quarterly Dividend

The Board of Directors of Chevron Corporation (NYSE: CVX) today declared a quarterly dividend of 58 cents per share. The dividend is payable December 10, 2007, to holders of common stock as shown by the transfer records of the Corporation at the close of business November 16, 2007.

Big oil stocks are all down.....THIS IS THE TIME TO BUY! Go check the charts and do some DD....trust me on this one. It might be a fairly long hold, but summer will be here before you know it and these always trend steeply upward in spring.

If prices go higher during the summer, wouldn't it be better to still wait on the oils?

Well, that's your call...but....I just know every time I see a big dip like this in oil stocks, I regret not buying them. Go look at the charts and you'll see the $10-15 price swings. Not only that, these are what I consider "safe" stocks to hold, big divy payers and solid companies....plus, look at the 5-10 history of the PPS...one general direction....UP! LOL :D
