OK. Earlier this year I started a 3% thread on another board, but got distracted and I didn't maintain it. I had some luck with it so I thought I'd set up another experiment here. The goal is to take small gains of about 3% per trade. This time I will focus on the Dow 30 stocks. As is my style, the first post in the thread here be maintained and edited constantly, and picks with buy and sell targets will be posted and posts will remain unedited. Hopefully I can keep this going even though it's close to the holiday season where everything in my life turns into a hectic pile. I will not be putting any money into these stocks quite yet, as I have too much money in NWD :mad: right now and I'm too stubborn to take a loss and move on at this point. On picks on this thread, I will give a date and if the price falls within the trading range I will post the result. There is more to come here. It will take some time to make this cohesive. I really hope I can keep this updated and going. I put this thread in the member journals so I may be the only one getting something out of this.

Good luck 007, question though, because the market seems to be hurting as of late do you plan on shorting for your 3% as well?

Also another thing to look into if you're interested is options.

Not at this time. After I master 'buy low, sell high', then I can hone my skills on 'sell high, buy low'. I've been fighting the market for three years now trying to develop a consistant strategy.
