Re: ACTC - Advanced Cell Technology
I'm in at .30 to see if it can break out of resistance at .31 Volume is building a bit early in day. Watching to see if it can break .32 on volume over 500K. Hasn't broken .32 since late August.
Needs to close above the 50ma at .30 for me to stay in.

Re: ACTC - Advanced Cell Technology
Last time we played this, we played it from .32 to .37 and got out before it came crashing back down.
Unfortunately, todays news sure didn't seem to help it much and the charts tend to indicate its going to drop a bit lower.
We're going to wait for the RSI to get closer to, or below 25 and then start watching it on L2, looking for signs of the turn.
Hope I'm wrong and it turns around tomorrow and heads higher for you!!!
Good Luck!!!

Thanks for your input. I got out with a small loss. One of my latest trading plan rules is if it doesn't perform in the right direction within 45-90 minutes after entry even though it may not have hit my sell stop. Get out! Even get out within the first 30 minutes if I don't like the volume or whatever else doesn't feel right.
I don't know how to watch L2 for a turn. RSI I understand. Maybe you can post a heads up if you think it is turning. I'll keep watching.
I knew this was a low possibilities trade until they have some breakthough but I need the experience anyway.

Re: ACTC - Advanced Cell Technology
If they would ever approve the use of stemcells this would probably be a money making stock.

could be. i have some concern of their fianances. it seems like the pps dropped 50% overnight last year due to some requirment they had, dilution of some sort. and it depends on who takes the white house. even though they are generating these form other stem cells, ignorant people will see no difference. stem cell bad. ya know? and i thoguht they published these same findings last year sometime, because some scientists called them liars.

Possible bounce play. I will not play it. But for the bottom bounce players it may be of interest..
