Hello all,
I have been watching this board for a few months now, but just signed up today. I am excited to be involved with some of these discussions that I have been reading for some time now. It seems like there are a lot of guys/gals on here with a lot of knowledge and I feel like I will be able to learn a lot more than I already know. I have a quick question, there are a lot of terms that are used here and many people reading(like myself) might not be able to pick up on some of the stock market lingo. Is there anyway there could be a sticky made with common terms with brief definitions? If this already exists then I apologize for missing it.

There's lots of info on the various terms all over the web already. Here's an example, Google is your friend. ;)

Hey guys thanks for the welcoming!

I wasn't really refering to any specifics, I was just making a suggestion for an addition to the forum. Maybe just a sticky with common terms and their definitions such as the different type of trades and graphs used for analysis. Now that I think about it though I guess it doesnt make much sense because, like BadThad said, google is your friend(thanks for the link). I was just thinking it would be convenient to have an area on this site designated to help first time traders get a general understanding of some concepts w/o having to use the search feature.

Thanks for making that addition it was exactly what I was thinking. Hopefully others will contribute, as you have, so we can have a large library of info easily available.
