http://www.dailyfx.com/story/tophead...321181480.html

The upcoming meeting this weekend could set a tone for the future of the greenback...

Let me just say--if they go to a basket of currency and fade the Oil OFF the USD to a basket--say HELLO to 1.50 and potentially 1.55 for the Euro.

FWIW, several pro FX traders I know have been hedging their buys towards a Euro LONG move in anticipation. Now that it has fallen back, the EURO at 1.4750 right now IMO is a good buy..it could see a pop ahead of this into Friday's trading. I would say it could be a good "bet" to take a small careful Long position on the Euro and hold it over the weekend and give yourself a 100 pip spread on a Stoploss.. In spite of the over extended and divergence set ups showing on the Eur/USD lately--we could see a hard move on the EURO in the next 5-7 days in one direction or the other..and I am thinking still it will be to a higher Euro before we begin to see a correction...

Yes I did to a degree...but in varying increments since november I held a long postion many times agasinst the USD over and over as it would push higher and then fall back and push higher and then fall back.. As noted--1.50+ in the Euro/USD is not been a surprise... Now Watch--$/Yen will be at 99-100 soon..I thought it would test it today on the NFP but it didn't... At which time when it gets to 100, the Bank of Japan will freak out, adjust policy to not raise their rate, and infuse their banking market with Yen and there will be a run up on USD...
