Auctions International Inc. (Pink Sheets: AUCI), a technology company that owns and markets proprietary software to enable real time online auctions of virtually any product or commodity for use by the wholesale market, announced today a strategic alliance with CARFAX, Inc. to improve its online auction process. Now, wholesale buyers and sellers can view CARFAX Vehicle History Reports(TM) directly from the vehicle listings to more accurately assess a car's condition and retail value. Dealers can also purchase CARFAX Vehicle History Reports through Auctions International's www.AutoBidLive.com website.

"Our decisive choice to integrate CARFAX Vehicle History Reports ensures our customers will have access to one of the central aspects of our business today -- vehicle history information," said Doug Mann, President & CEO of Auctions International Inc. "AutoBidLive is now one of the premier online marketplaces to buy and sell wholesale vehicles. We're extremely excited about this enhancement to our services and the added benefits it gives our customers."

Dealers can buy and sell cars faster and with greater confidence to meet their customers' needs using AutoBidLive's enhanced services. Free CARFAX Vehicle History Reports are available for vehicles wholesaled on AutoBidLive by CARFAX-subscribing dealers and qualifying vehicles will come with the CARFAX Buyback Guarantee.

"Wholesale buyers inherently have questions about vehicles sold at auction," said Larry Gamache, communications director at CARFAX. "CARFAX Vehicle History Reports help buyers answer many of those important questions -- like ownership history, mileage and branded title information -- that otherwise may go unanswered. Dealers feel more confident in their wholesale purchase and in the car's value on the retail market."

AutoBid Live Auctions is a wholly owned subsidiary of Auctions International Inc. The company services dealers in both Canada and the U.S. For more information, visit www.autobidlive.com and www.auctionsir.com. Dealers may visit www.autobidlive.com to sign up for free.

Well, I have learned in the short time I have been trading pinks that I am to consider any company involved a scam! Ofcourse I know this is not always the case... a few.. very few actually use trading on the pinks to raise capital and grow a legitimate business.... I had never heard of this company before the post was made here... but have to say after looking it over that this has the possibility of being one of the FEW!

Appeared on the market in July of this year and took the expected decline in its price per share! But! Lo and behold a strange thing happened for a pink.. beginning in Sept. it begin a steady growth back to its IPO price range reaching that range in Nov. and has since moved mostly sideways no huge gains or losses since... Pretty unusual for a pink! This pretty much forces me to give it the benifit of the doubt!

There is not really enough history for ME to get a decent read on the TA of this stock... but I like what I see... I can not say this will be a quick gainer in value, nor a quick loser... but personally I am thinking that this has the potential of being a growth stock.... hopefully better than simply putting your money in AAA bonds.... at its closing price Friday of .53 I am going to watch it Monday for an entry point and claim a small stake in this company....

Do your own DD because I have surely been known to be wrong!

Harold,
The interview I heard was very impressive. If I'm not mistaken this was started from some surplus vehicles and a two man operation but has now grown into a huge business.

To save my life I can't remember what show it was featured on but it was on XM radio so odds are good it was something on CNBC.

I'm just watching but like you said I may buy a few and forget about it for awhile.

I think I am going to ease into this one and follow it for a while... Just buy a small position in it and surf along carefully until I get an idea how the waves break and how rocky the fall can be....:D Not bad west coast talk for a southern old man... huh?

I was stopped cold in my tracks on this one also.... jus finished reading the press release where President and CEO Doug Mann regarding today's volume and price change in its common stock. "No material changes in the Company or management would warrant an increase in trading volume or the sudden drop in share price that occurred today."..... "The selling pressure may have been caused by a confusion between our Company and Auctioncities.com, with whom we have no affiliation. Coincidentally, Auctioncities.com is also in the auctions business and trades on the pink sheets under the stock symbol AUCC, just one letter off from ours. Auctioncities.com indicated it would effect a 1-for-1000 reverse split on otcbb.com, and that this split would be effective tomorrow. We want to clarify we are unrelated companies to those who may have mistaken us for this company."

Possible I guess, but seems to me like we as traders would have to be pretty stupid to allow that kind of confusion... but.... I still waited to enter... wish I had not been tied up just before close though..... afraid we have missed a great bargin... watch it gap wide in the morning.
