I loaded up with C last week. My son wanted to get into the market so he threw in 1500.00 hoping to take out about twice that,

C is on a roll and has along way to go

I opened up an options account last week. Still barely know anything about options but what I do know, is that if the company stock goes up 2x, then the right options pick are going up by at least 5x.

I'm going to look into the January or March 2010 calls for Citigroup.....right now the January 2010 $10 calls are going for 9 cents a contract. I'm no expert on options, but if Citigroup hits $10 by January I'd imagine I could sell them for at least 75 cents a contract (8x investment).

But don't quote me on it cause I definitely know little to nothing about options. On a scale of 0-100, where 100 equals complete understanding of options, I probably rank in around 3 or 4!!

I created a thread on options. Despite the fact that I have no knowledge on options I will probably make my first trade in the next couple weeks. I learn best by first-hand experience...How can I not learn by trading them? It might take a few weeks or couple months, but I hope I'll get the hang of it...

Stock hit $5.00 today so far not really sure what the catalyst is driving it up but it has made quite a run.
