I haven't been to Silver Lake in years but I remember it being a really cool spot. Sand dunes are fun.

That's a nice wide open dune complex. I didn't realize there was anything like that in Michigan...pretty much think 'southwest' when dunes are the topic. My brother has been building a fairly high tech sand machine for several years now, set up with a 2.5 liter Subaru and Mendeola transaxle. Wish he'd hurry and finish it so I can try it out!
