re: HMPR - Hampton Roads Bankshares, Inc. (NASDAQ Stock)
I stand corrected, the dividend was halted:

Hampton Roads swings to loss, halts dividend
LONDON (MarketWatch) -- Hampton Roads Bankshares (HMPR) swung to a $43.2 million, or $2.13 a share, loss and halted its quarterly dividend. The Norfolk, Va. bank said provisions for loan losses rose to $33.7 million from $274,000, and there also was a $28 million goodwill impairment charge. The move to suspend dividends will save the bank about $8 million a year. Hampton Roads Bankshares, which earned $1.67 million in the year-earlier quarter, said it had paid a common dividend at least annually since 1992. The company also said it will sell up to 32.5 million shares.

re: HMPR - Hampton Roads Bankshares, Inc. (NASDAQ Stock)
Added bonus: Book value per common share of HMPR is $7.54
Another bonus: My previous post states "The company also said it will sell up to 32.5 million shares"
Well, they came out with a press release that stated they are not going to dilute shares. Reminds me of a similar stock I was in (LEE). A little different though, LEE was in a situation where they were contemplating doing a reverse split and then came out with a PR stating otherwise. The stock quadrupled within 2 months of the PR.

Bump
I got in and out of this stock for a few pennies a while back but rechecked the chart this morning and looks like a good candidate for a double bottom.

Re: HMPR - Hampton Roads Bankshares, Inc. (NASDAQ Stock)
Got a white hammer Fri. Market permitting, this may be a bottom (hopefully) and be ready to make a move up. Possible loose pincher play. Watching.

Re: HMPR - Hampton Roads Bankshares, Inc. (NASDAQ Stock)
It's broke out of the down trend line. Looks like it wants to consolidate some at this level of resistance. If it holds it could set up to move up to around 3.50 hopefully. Watching.
