I am working hard to avoid the lure of penny's myself. I got hammered so bad last year and sold most of my penny positions at a loss. I still have a few that are essentially worthless because of R/S activity. Kinda hard to make money back when 250,000 shares turns into 150 shares.
So I have been playing the suicide sector of financials now. Still risking death, but at least a lot more trade volume. FNM and MBI have been real good to me this year flipping, but (drum roll please) guess who thought BSC was a great deal @33.00?? Yep, the Friday before the $2.00 Fed backed THEFT of BSC shareholder equity---l'il old me took a position in BSC---woke up on Monday and saw the news----

Sorry to hear about BSC... I know the feeling.
I have made nice green the last couple of weeks on stocks between 1.00 and 10.00 but have gave most back to penny scams.
