Capstone Turbine Corporation (Capstone) develop, manufacture, market and service microturbine technology solutions for use in stationary distributed power generation applications, including cogeneration (combined heat and power (CHP) and combined cooling, heat and power (CCHP), resource recovery and secure power. Its microturbines can be used as generators for hybrid electric vehicle applications and allow customers to produce power onsite. Capstone's 30 kilowatt (Model C30) and 60 and 65-kilowatt (C60 Series) products are designed to produce electricity for commercial and small industrial users. The Model C30 product can be fueled by various sources, including natural gas, propane, sour gas, renewable fuels, such as landfill or digester gas, kerosene and diesel. The C60 Series can be fueled by natural gas or renewable fuels, such as landfill or digester gas.

Yes I'm well acquainted.

SMC is a different kind of stock forum. When starting a new thread in the Main Stock forums, the title should state the company ticker symbol and name only. We also ask that you include some basic DD to help potential investors with their decision. A simple link to finance page such as Yahoo, Google, etc. will suffice. Like this:

What is the first thing any forum poster hears? SEARCH YOURSELF. I would expect by the time someone gets this far they know how to look up a stock. For the uninitiated here are a couple links.

Please state your opinion on the stock and back it with some fact. We like to know why you may like a particular stock. Don't just come here to pump a stock! If you want to pump, you better have some DD, facts and opinions to back-up your post or it will be deleted. Starting a post with "This is the next big thing!" is not acceptable at SMC.

My opinion is that this is a good performer. It is backed by THE GOOD PERFORMANCE of this company, and its stock price. I don't claim that its the next big thing or that they are going to dominate any market.
(incidentally if you search around you will find many people who claim that CPST has something unique for the time being at least) All I claim is that over the past year all I have seen are gains.Those gains are accelerating of late.

Dare I say it.......

Another 52 week high above the 3 dollar mark today and more good news on the wire. I can't believe nobody else has chimed in on this yet. If we can close over $3 today/tomorrow we'll be in whole different ball game next week.

Opened at 3.02 today so we're establishing new support at the 3 dollar mark. Let's hope it hangs here for a bit before rallying upward.

I have some concerns about their ability to keep up with demand, but there are worse problems for a company to have! Go Capstone!

Naturally I'm wishing I had bought a lot more of this back when it was under 1.50 but oh well. I'm happy to be in it now.
