BUSINESS SUMMARY
Parker Drilling Company, through its subsidiaries, provides land and offshore contract drilling and drilling-related services to oil and gas companies in the United States and internationally. As of December 31, 2007, its fleet of rigs consisted of 8 land rigs in the Commonwealth of Independent States; 9 land rigs in the Asia Pacific region; 8 land rigs in the Americas region; 1 barge drilling rig in the inland waters of Mexico; 7 land rigs in the Africa/Middle East region; 1 arctic-class barge rig in the Caspian Sea; and 16 barge drilling and work over rigs in the transition zones of the U.S. Gulf of Mexico. It also provides non-capital intensive services, such as Front End Engineering and Design services and project management services, including labor, maintenance, and logistics for operators who own their own drilling rigs. In addition, the company provides premium rental tools for land and offshore oil and gas drilling and work over activities. Its rental tools include a line of drill pipe, drill collars, tubing, high and low- pressure blowout preventers, choke manifolds, junk and cement mills, and casing scrapers. Parker Drilling Company was founded in 1934 and is headquartered in Houston, Texas.

PKD making higer higs and higer lows and has turned again and there is a high probability that it will make another higher high.

PHD broke out giving it a high probility that it will complete the cup pattern at $5.60

Looks like a great play, it's an inexpensive stock too.

My opinion is that with the oil flow disruption in Libya, we're going to see a lot more business for the drillers in short order as oil companies figure out how to produce more oil to take advantage and to prepare for summer.
