ASIAN MARKET UPDATE
Asian markets were trading mixed. China’s Shanghai Composite was up 0.21% or 5.01 points at 2,402.57.
Hong Kong’s Hang Seng was down 0.80% or 142.93 points at 17,792.17.
Japan’s Nikkei was flat at 8,166.37.
Singapore’s Straits Times shed 0.46% or 12.32 points at 2,664.83.
South Korea’s Seoul Composite fell 0.92% or 16.60 points at 1,778.46.
Taiwan’s Taiwan Weighted was flat at 6,874.84.
INDIAN RUPEE UPDATE
The Indian rupee opened at 52.23 per dollar versus 52.06 yesterday.
DOLLAR
The index of the dollar against six major currencies was at 79.179 points versus 78.855 points.
ASIAN STOCK
Asian shares and the euro both hovered near seven-week lows on Friday as European officials failed to soothe fears that the euro zone’s debt crisis could trigger a credit crunch if funding costs run out of control.
SILVER
Silver imports to India, the world’s biggest consumer, would be marginally lower in 2011 from last year’s 3,030 tonnes as traders are uncomfortable with prices ruling above 50,000 rupees per kg.

U.S. MARKET UPDATE
U.S. investors came to the Thanksgiving holiday table on Thursday mostly thankful that the week was a short one, or losses could have been larger.
the outlook for U.S. equity markets was downbeat. Dow Jones Industrial Average futures indicated a loss of 0.29%, S&P 500 futures pointed to a decrease of 0.35% and Nasdaq 100 futures indicated a fall of 0.53%.
U.S. STOCK
U.S. stocks posted its seventh straight lower close, ending the worst week in two months, as the lack of a credible solution to Europe’s debt crisis kept investors away from risky assets. Wall Street traded higher for most of the abbreviated session on hopes that a successful start of the U.S holiday shopping season would support major retailers.
ASIAN STOCK
Asian shares slipped on Friday as European officials failed to soothe investor fears that the euro zone’s debt crisis could trigger a credit crunch if funding costs run out of control.

ASIAN MARKET UPDATE
Asian markets were trading firm. China’s Shanghai Composite was flat at 2,378.53.
Hong Kong’s Hang Seng gained 1.67% or 295.89 points at 17,985.37.
Japan’s Nikkei rose 1.80% or 147.11 points at 8,307.12.
Singapore’s Straits Times added 1.30% or 34.36 points at 2,678.29.
South Korea’s Seoul Composite advanced 1.87% or 33.23 points at 1,809.63.
Taiwan’s Taiwan Weighted was up 1.26% or 85.71 points at 6,870.23.
INDIAN RUPEE UPDATE
The Indian rupee opened at 52.05 per dollar versus 52.23 Friday.
Sensex Opens 200 Pts Up On Hopes Of IMF Loan To Italy
The Sensex surged over 200 points in the opening trade, reacting to a solution to Italy’s debt problems last week. There were reports that International Monetray Funds (IMF) is preparing Euro 600 billion loan for Italy in case the debt burden worsens. Even Italian Prime Minister Monti is expected to unveil measures on December 5.
The week started on a good note as market witnessed broad based buying. The 30-share BSE Sensex was up 271 points at 15,966 and the 50-share NSE Nifty rose 81 points to 4,790 in the opening trade.
ASIAN STOCK
Asian shares rose Monday and the euro gained on expectations Europe will come up with some concrete steps this week towards activating a euro zone bail-out fund that is crucial to relieving funding stresses on the region’s troubled economies.
U.S. STOCK
U.S. stock futures jumped in early electronic trading on Sunday on the latest round of proposals out of Europe designed to corral the growing euro zone debt crisis.

U.S MARKET UPDATE
U.S. stock index futures pointed to a sharply higher open for equities on Wall Street on Friday, with futures for the S&P 500, for the Dow Jones and for the Nasdaq 100 up 1 to 1.1 percent ahead of a key jobs report
BSE Sensex Logs Best Week
The BSE Sensex posted solid gains for a third straight day on Friday and logged its best week since July 2009 on prospects of a revival in foreign fund inflows and expectations of a pick up in domestic growth.
DOW JONES
The Dow Jones industrial average closed down 25.65 points, or 0.21 percent, at 12,020.03. The S&P 500 lost 2.38 points, or 0.19 percent, to 1,244.58. The Nasdaq Composite gained 5.86 points, or 0.22 percent, to 2,626.20.

ASIAN MARKET UPDATE
Asian markets were trading mixed.
Chinese Shanghai Composite fell 15.92 points or 0.67%, to 2,344.74
Straits Times was trading at 2,762.56, down 10.80 points or 0.39%.
Taiwan Weighted declined 33.97 points or 0.48% to 7,106.71.
Hong Kong’s Hang Seng gained 71.56 points or 0.38% at 19,111.95
Japan’s Nikkei 225 Average rose 37.03 points or 0.43% to 8,680.78.
INDIAN RUPEE UPDATE
Indian rupee opened at 51.26-51.27 to the dollar as against Friday’s closing of 51.20.
Seoul Composite was trading flat at 1,916.61.
ASIAN SHARE
Asian shares and the euro firmed on Monday on hopes European leaders would agree on a definitive plan to solve the euro zone’s debt crisis at a crucial summit this week, with sentiment also getting a lift from Italy unveiling austerity steps.
SGX Nifty slipped 30.5 points at 5063.5.
U.S. STOCK
U.S. stock index futures opened higher on Sunday, adding to their biggest weekly rally since March 2009 last week after data showing a drop in the U.S. unemployment rate to a 2-1/2-year low reinforced views the economy remained on a recovery path.

ASIAN MARKET UDPATE
Asia has opened in the red today.
Kospi is down 2.3%,
Straits down 1.5%,
Hang Seng has lost 1.6%
Shanghai is down 1.5%.
U.S. MARKET UPDATE
A rally in U.S. stocks fizzled, leaving major indexes with modest gains on Friday, as Wall Street was torn between hope that U.S. economic data signals better times ahead and fear Europe’s debt crisis will engulf world economies.
The Dow Jones industrial average was down 2.42 points, or 0.02 percent, at 11,866.39. The Standard & Poor’s 500 Index was up 3.91 points, or 0.32 percent, at 1,219.66. The Nasdaq Composite Index was up 14.32 points, or 0.56 percent, at 2,555.33.
ASIAN STOCK
Asian stocks fell on Monday on fears possible credit ratings downgrades of several European countries could derail progress towards resolving the euro zone’s debt crisis.
U.S. STOCK
