giving all folks with cats the heads up... if you are using any kind of clumped litter or clay litter with "bentonite clay' then you all may wanna replace it with something else... can google clumped kitty litter and pull up much info....nasty stuff and am currently in process of trying to help my cat beat her second death sentence now... first one was feline luekemia almost 5 years ago.... bentonite clay litter triggered allergies along with an anemic condition and due to the anemia she actually ingested a little which has formed a plug so she can't keep any solid food down... clay absorbed all nutrients, including essential iron etc so blood count is on the floor and platelet separation, which means she could bleed to death internally or externally from any kind of nick to her skin... hoping she doesn't have all that much in there and her body temp combined with liquid in her system is dissolving/breaking it down but getting nutrients into her is a full time job - cooking all kinds of high fiber foods, pureeing them and then feeding her every couple of hours through a large bird syringe..
all i can say is that some folks/companies really should be shot and i would be the first one to pull the trigger.. just recently heard of a dog food warning that tells folks to wash their hands should they come in contact with it while feeding their dogs.. sick stuff and government regulations probably not gonna happen any time soon because sick animals is another big drug business
