Moved up to support. I had this on a scan but missed the first play. Watching it with some interest and see what it can do.

Positron Corporation designs, manufactures, markets and services advanced medical imaging devices utilizing positron emission tomography (PET) technology under the trade name, POSICAM systems. POSICAM systems incorporate software and technology for the diagnosis and treatment of patients in the areas of cardiology, oncology and neurology. PET technology permits the measurement of the biological processes of organs and tissues, as well as producing anatomical and structural images. POSICAM systems enable physicians to diagnose and treat patients in the areas of cardiology, neurology and oncology. The United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved the initial POSICAM system for marketing in 1985, and as of December 31, 2005, the Company had sold 28 POSICAM systems. In June 2008, the Company announced that it acquired NukeMed, Inc.'s subsidiary, Dose Shield Corporation and has formed a new subsidiary, Positron Pharmaceuticals Company.

I never bought a stock under a buck in my life until I bought Positron Corp (POSC). Their innovative, cost-effective PET technology is poised for wide-spread adaptation in coming months and years. I've already made good money on this investment, which is just taking off.

Positron has a bright future:

* They have the only FDA approved cardiac PET Scanner, a monpoly! Cardiology is potentially a much more lucrative niche in medical imaging than oncology.

* Reimbursement policy recently adopted by the Obama adminstration offers strong incentive to hospitals and other medical facilities to acquire this superior PET technology, the new standard. Existing SPECT techology is much more costly under new policy.

* Positron has announced new strategic partnerships with major players in medical equipment. Fuller details will be announced in a press conference scheduled for Wednesday, 5/5/2010, at the NASDAQ Marketsite. The rumor on the net is a big deal with Covidian (NYSE:COV), but Positron hints at multiple alliances. This should increase sales of their PET scanner exponentially. Positron is signing partnership deals because they have tried to do it all on their own, without success. With partnerships, and and a wider network of experienced sales people, they will be able to sell and service a lot of these machines. Their PET scanners are about $1M each.

* Cardiac PET imaging is potentially a billion-dollar untapped market worldwide. Positron is already active in China.

* Positron has been around for about 27 years. They don't have a strong balance sheet. They haven't been able to generate huge revenues in the past. CEO Rooney has expressed confidence in recent interviews that this is the year Positron will move into solid, long-term profitability, due to a recent tripling of interest from potential buyers. Don't be deterred by statements referencing last quarter's or last year's negative earnings. The rules of the game are changing and Positron is in the sweet spot!

* The competing SPECT techology is being hammered by a global shortage of Molybdenum, a metal not necessary in Positron's PET technology.

They have other innovative products. PharmAssist is a big, fat refrigerator that can safely and quickly mix injectable radio-active coctails for medical imaging, even in small clinic or office settings. Did the guy who put a photo lab in every drugstore in America make money? It's that kind of situation. CEO Rooney believes it will double Positron's revenue going forward.

Check out POSC. It's going to be huge!

BTW, the daily volume on POSC is 13 million to 25 million in recent weeks, and trending solidly upward! That's phenomenal for a penny stock! Good luck!
