FCX - Freeport Mcmoran Copper (NYSE Stock)
FCX is very closely tied to the U.S. Dollar as it is a play on copper. The intraday double bottom is holding up well so far as support. There is also support at the 73.00 level with the 200 moving average on the 10 minute chart. Use the charts and the moving averages as they represent good support levels. When trading commodity plays it is important to keep watch of the U.S. Dollar. Remember a weak dollar is beneficial for inflationary stocks.

ORCL is up on the trading session while the market is weak. Watch this resistance level for a pullback at 21.80 -21.86 area.

FCX is in a downward channel. On the break of the chennel FCX becomes a buy.

FCX triggered one of my stock scanners yesterday, in it now and holding for few days. See what happens. Scan seeks stocks which are oversold, at 30 day low and down last 4 trading days. Backtest says buy and hold for 4 days and sell. We shall see-back testing strategy shows high success rate- trying real time now.

This trade worked out green for me.. Sold 1/2 of position yesterday and remainder at open today. Entry point was 43.40 and sold at 44.33 and 44.07.
Will try to post future trades in my old thread as time permits going forward for anyone who may be interested in the success of this scanner.
