Neat chart, Thanks. Are all of those descriptions fairly accurate?

Re: Palin just blows Obama away
Cool, Thanks. I guess most people already know about Palin's teenage daughter being pregnant & unmarried?
Quote:
Palin's 17-Year Old Daughter Pregnant, Campaign Says
Sept. 1 Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin's 17-year old daughter is pregnant, her campaign said in a statement today.
The daughter, Bristol, will have the baby and marry the father of the child, according to the statement, which was released on the first day of the Republican National Convention in St. Paul, Minnesota.
``We're proud of Bristol's decision to have her baby and even prouder to become grandparents,'' Palin, the governor of Alaska, and her husband, Todd, said in the statement. ``As Bristol faces the responsibilities of adulthood, she knows she has our unconditional love and support.''
Republican presidential candidate John McCain picked Palin, 44, as his running mate last week. The Palins have four other children.
McCain advisers Stephen Schmidt and Mark Salter told reporters in St. Paul today that the campaign learned of Bristol's pregnancy when they vetted her mother.
``Many American families have experiences like this,'' Salter said. ``Unfortunately, it has to play out in the public spotlight.''
Schmidt said the campaign decided to disclose the information because of repeated media inquiries about ``dirty, nasty smears'' on the Internet that Bristol may actually be the mother of Sarah Palin's youngest child, Trig.
`Off Limits'
``It's a private family matter,'' Schmidt said.
Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama, campaigning today in Monroe, Michigan, said Palin's children should be ``off limits'' and cited his own mother, who gave birth to Obama when she was 18.
``This shouldn't be part of our politics, it has no relevance to Governor Palin's performance as a governor or her potential performance as a vice president, and so I would strongly urge people to back off these kinds of stories,'' Obama told reporters.
Obama also said his campaign wasn't involved in spreading rumors that Bristol was Trig's mother.
``We don't go after people's families,'' Obama said. ``If I ever thought that there was somebody in my campaign that was involved in something like that, they'd be fired.''

Re: Palin just blows Obama away
A bit more info I just read:
Day of stunning Palin disclosures - Yahoo! News
Quote:
Day of stunning Palin disclosures
ST. PAUL, Minn. - John McCain's running mate, Sarah Palin, said Monday her 17-year-old unmarried daughter was five months pregnant, the latest in a string of disclosures that left the McCain campaign defending the thoroughness of its background check of the little-known Alaska governor.
It was also revealed Monday that an attorney had been hired to represent Palin in a state ethics probe and that her husband, Todd, had been arrested for drunken driving two decades ago. The man who led McCain's vice presidential search team said he thought everything that came up as a possible red flag during the background check had now been made public.
"I think so," Arthur B. Culvahouse Jr. told The Associated Press. "Yes. I think so. Correct."
The revelations threatened to steal any remaining thunder from Day One of the Republican National Convention, which already was overshadowed by Hurricane Gustav — and brought unwanted attention to the 44-year-old governor, a self-described "hockey mom" with little experience on the national stage....

BREAKING: Sarah Palin "Winged" Her Speech Because of "Broken" Teleprompter

Halfway through Sarah Palin's speech tonight at the RNC, people following the speech noticed she was deviating from the prepared text.
According to sources close to the McCain campaign, the teleprompter continued scrolling during applause breaks. As a result, half way through the speech, the speech had scrolled significantly from where Governor Palin was in the speech. The malfunction also occurred during Rudy Giuliani's speech, explaining his significant deviations from his speech.
Unfazed, Governor Palin continued, from memory, to deliver her speech without the teleprompter cued to the appropriate point in her speech.
Contrast this to Barack Obama who, when last his teleprompter malfunctioned, was left stuttering before a crowd unable to advance his speech until the problem was resolved.
Sarah Palin. Winner.

WOW! Impressive.....now that's someone speaking from the heart. I've done many presentations/speeches and I never follow an exact written script. When you know what you're talking about, all you need is some bullets to guide you. Plus, the audience is way more interested when they know you're not just reading....take note Obama.
