Anyone else here into coin collecting?

Wondering if any of you invest in coins? I'm fairly new to coin collecting, but I have a vast collection now. Some coins appreciate a TON from year to year.....the rarer, the better investment in terms of appreciation.

I might have to start collecting coins on the streets if this stock gig doesn't work out.

I was thinking about it a few months ago, I was looking at paper money though, like some old $1000 bills and such

Got 300.00 this year for a $5.00 bill that had some stains on it etc. It had a bank stampedon it from Rogers Arkansas. Sold a buch of Morgan silver dollars and some were Carsen City, but not in the greatest shape. Sold em for a relative. Sold some Peace Dollars, indian head pennies and a few flying eagle pennies. All gone. I have about 10 common morgans that are mine. Just keeping them mainly for the silver.

One good thing about the bear market....it had ZERO effect on my coin collection! LOL I've actually been buying more coins lately. The hot coins (and cheap) for investment are the 3 cent nickel, buffalo nickel and Lincoln cents. If you can afford them, all the gold coins are also rapidly rising in value.
