Easy to see why the stock price is so low:

Quote:
GSAT reported 4th quarter 2007 earnings of $-0.21, missing the consensus estimate of the 2 analysts covering the company by 1,150.00%. This negative surprise is noteworthy because the guidance for the quarter had dropped 0.04% in the year leading up to the announcement, and yet the company was still unable to meet the number.
Quote:
GSAT's debt to total capital ratio, at 42.84%, is in-line with the Communications Services industry's norm despite its increase over the last year. The company's Quick ratio has a value of 0.46 which shows that there are not enough liquid assets to satisfy current liabilities in the event that operating earnings are unable to.
It's a good speculative play at these levels, it may even be a buyout candidate.
