MCZ - Mad Catz Interactive, Inc. (AMEX Stock)
I don’t want to be disqualified from the contest, so here is my choice…
Check out the 3 year chart: Almost reaching it’s 3 year high, possible cup and handle forming, and bouncing of the 50 day lately.

What are some other opinions on this one?

Re: MCZ- Mad Catz Interactive Inc. (AMEX)
This might also be a great one come November/Decemeber. Holiday season... all the kiddies want their new games... all the adults (like me) want to play the games they bought for their kids...
Didn't get a chance to look at the chart since I'm in a bit of a hurry at the moment but I can say I do like the product. Branded controllers are popular with the younger audience more so then adults. Mine are always asking for something to personalize their games.

I got in on this at 1.28
I agree this is definitely a stock to watch. Mad Catz has a ton of accessories for Halo 3 (one of the most anticipated games of all time). Can't wait for the release of that as well has the holiday season!

Re: MCZ- Mad Catz Interactive Inc. (AMEX)
There's a lot of great games coming out this November. This should be one of the best seasons we've had in a while for console games. That's why I need to increase my portfolio worth, so I can go out and get em all. heh
But more to the point I think this will be a fairly strong product. Not sure how long or if I would hold onto it after the holiday season is done but might be good for the short term.

The bollinger bands are closing in. I believe there is a jump coming next week.
I agree with Pilgrim Zero. I'm going to get out of this soon after the holiday season unless their INAIR Technology convinces me otherwise.

Re: MCZ- Mad Catz Interactive Inc. (AMEX)
This one getting some action lately. The stock is still undervalued, and with Halo 3 coming out in 3 days, the accessories that Mad Catz are producing may drive the stock up more. I thought it was going to make a jump a while back, it just so happens it took a dive the same time the stock market did. Anyone else following this one?

MCZ Mad Catz Interactive
Ok, this company makes video game accessories as well as INair earphones that were just announced are compatible with iPhone. Just had a breakout, but died today along with the market. IMO this is a perfect time to load up because there are some exciting events coming up:
They just announced the shipping of their INair technology earphones (earphones that lay on the outside of the ear to reduce ear damage as well as allow users to interact with surroundings)
There will be a earnings call/conference call/webast on November 13. Reports that will include their sales with Halo 3 related products
And most important Mad Catz will participate in the BMO Capital Markets Interactive Entertainment Conference on November 6. The most important info in the PR is...
"will meet with institutional investors and provide product demonstrations"
This will gain a bunch of attention to Mad Catz. "institutional investors" will be huge.
Also look at the max chart and notice MCZ around Christmas time. I think this is a good opportunity IMO.

Re: MCZ Mad Catz Interactive
Looking for a bounce off of the 200ma.
Latest PR is exciting:
Mad Catz Interactive, Inc. (AMEX/TSX: MCZ), a leading third-party interactive entertainment accessory provider, announced today that it has entered into a multi-year licensing agreement with MTV Networks, a division of Viacom International Inc. (NYSE: VIA and VIA.B), whereby Mad Catz has secured the North American and other worldwide territory rights to produce and distribute game peripherals and other products for the critically acclaimed Rock Band(TM) game.
Published by MTV Games and developed by MTV Network's Harmonix Music Systems, Rock Band is a new platform for music fans and gamers to interact with music, challenging users to master the lead/bass guitar, drums and vocals as solo artists or cooperatively as part of their own band. Built on deals with the world's biggest record labels and music publishers, the music featured in Rock Band spans all genres of rock and includes many master recordings from the greatest songs and artists of all time. Rock Band is currently available on the Xbox 360(TM), PlayStation(R) 3 and PlayStation(R) 2 consoles in North America.
Pursuant to the agreement, Mad Catz has secured the rights to manufacture, market and sell game accessories, including both wired and wireless bass guitars, a drum percussion set bundled with professional quality wooden drum sticks, and a wired microphone. Mad Catz expects its initial offerings under this license agreement to be available in the first half of 2008.
"This agreement with MTV Games represents a natural opportunity for Mad Catz to combine our core competencies of producing and distributing high-quality accessories with the entertaining experience of Rock Band's interactive controllers," said Darren Richardson, President and Chief Executive Officer of Mad Catz. "Mad Catz will produce premium instruments, allowing gamers and music fans to experience music in an entirely new light while taking on the personality of their favorite music idols.
"The addition of the Rock Band license is consistent with Mad Catz' stated goal to align ourselves with the most attractive brands and highly-anticipated software releases while seeking additional accessory opportunities to further diversify and grow our revenue base. With the ability to appeal to both hardcore and casual gamers alike, Rock Band is one of the most highly acclaimed releases of the 2007 holiday season and beyond."
