Spreads for major currencies
Availability of mini forex accounts
Availability and quality of demo currency trading account
Number of currency pairs offered
Try demo accounts
See the demerits of the broker as well...
Well all you need to select a broker which suits your trading style
For an example I always look for scalping and not all the brokers
Allow to use scalping strategies

Well those points are great and these points must be kept in mind while for a broker. it would be great if you get some bonus while you are looking for a broker. like for example avafx is offering some bonus to the new client of $100 for depositing just $200 into the trading account. for this only the thing which has to be done is send this code AVAQZ12 to the account representative. FXCM is also giving some bonus to the clients. this is the great way to enlarge your account with some extra money.

I am adding my points because every broker is more or less same but not many brokers think for their customers.

I couldn't find a good broker in the internet. It seems that no broker is scam free. There's no 100% clean review out there.

I've found good explanation how to select the right metatrader 4 brokerage firm. I think, this info would be interesting for all forex traders. I use scalping strategies and I had to change a lot of brokers before I found this information. See iticsoftware.com or BJF Trading Group .

If you hedge i don't think you can do it with any NFA regulated brokers.

One of the key things a forex trader has to do is make sure their broker is solvent and solid, otherwise, no smart forex trading will make a difference. Two main features on which a forex broker should be judged are:

1. Reliability
2. Leverage

Most online forex brokers have practice or play money accounts that you can use to try them out. I suggest this, not just for practicing your forex trading, but also to get a good feel for the broker. Getting that right is nearly as important as your trades themselves.
