New Investor Question

Hi all, I am new to investing in stocks and I am just trying to learn before I activate my online investing account. I understand the risks of investing in small caps but that is a risk I will take. I am going to talk to a broker just learn a little bit more but I had one question and was wondering you guys would be able to lend me a hand with. If you did your research on a stock and you feel the stock is going to go up in the morning but the market is closed how do you fill the stock before the stock price increases in the morning?

In order to trade before market open you have make an agreement with your broker for pre-market/after-hours trading. However, be aware this doesn't necessarily mean you're going to "get a jump" on a stock. Often the price rises during off hours only to come crashing down when the market opens.

If this is your "big plan" to make money in the market, you're mistaken. There's no magic method. It takes hard work and education to make money.
