Alright the FOREX board is up.

Anyone want to discuss their current positions?

I started a demo account with 100k and did pretty well, but decided i should make it more realistic and im at 1k with a 20:1 leverage.

Its alot harder, i am up about 10 pips and its only a 4$ profit.

at last I open a demonstration/simulator account with Forex.com
unfortunately some friends arrived so I had to give up….
I will have a go this evening (out all day)

I open on €$ 1.3628 (beginner eagerness)

any comments on Forex.com will be appreciated (never heard it before just fund it on line)
It looks ok to me (experiences on f/trading “zero” ) but they don’t explain anything

or can someone recommend a beginner simulator trading link…

first question

the prices on €$ are bid 1.3625 ask 1.3628
then on the buy/sell 25 /28 there is a small 2 above…. what that mean??

Same as £$ bid 03 with a small 1 ask 08 a small 6 :confused:

I wish i could answer your questions but i use oanda.com.

Check it out, i feel its very user friendly and i wouldn't use anything else personally. Well, until i check out others.

I opened a 1k account with 20:1 leverage, i think, maybe 50:1.

I picked up a few pairs during the week and yesterday before close...

Long USD/JPY, based on my chart i have it in the bottom/middle of my upward trend.

Short XAU/USD (i love this pair except i am told its very risky). I shorted it because i have it at the top of a downward trend, so hoping to pick up quite a few pips to the bottom of the trend.

Short GBP/USD. I felt this showed some weakness end of day friday, so i decided to short it. It is also at the top of the upward trend.
