GPK - Graphic Packaging Holdings Co
Today's chart is Graphic Packaging Holdings Co - GPK. GPK is a $1.3 billion consumer goods company that provides packaging solutions in the United States, Canada, Central/South America, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific. On Tuesday, GPK broke out above the late December and early January highs and did so with confirming volume. Also note the MACD is pointing skyward on this advance, suggesting the bulls are in complete control of the near-term action. We would expect prices to climb higher here, with a possible short-term target of $4.25. To the downside, a close back below $3.74 would lead to a 50 day SMA test at $3.45. Volume trends have been very strong over the past several months during the recent uptrend and that portends higher prices ahead as well.
