In addition, Nanometrics offers VerteX, a photoluminescence mapping system for high-volume compound semiconductor metrology applications; RPMBlue, a photoluminescence mapping system designed specifically for the HB-LED segment; FTIR systems, which are spectrometers designed for non-destructive wafer analysis for various applications; SiPHER, an automated photoluminescence metrology system for the detection and mapping of 300 millimeter substrate defects and metallic contamination; and NanoSpec line of products that supports thin film measurement across various segments in low volume production and research applications. Its products are used primarily in manufacturing of semiconductors, solar PVs, and HB-LED, as well as by customers in silicon wafer and data storage industries.
