Read all of the information that you can at this site before you start investing. Best to learn to trade at a place like Investopedia.com, before you use real money. Believe me, I know... I have lost a lot of money.

I am glad i lost alot of money, rather than paper trading, it made me think harder about what went wrong and why. But paper trading isnt a bad idea, just do yourself a favor and analyze every trade. Learn from your mistakes, and ask lots of ?'s.

New to the site I am into otc, otc.bb, NASDAQ, New York, AMex, options, and trying to build a account to trade futures. I am not a currency trader so FOREX is not my thing...

Hi all!
I have been lurking around the site for a couple of month.....ideas and insight. I am actually glad to be signed up. I was kind of getting tired of hanging around the drama at the yahoo stock forums. I hope to get more ideas from this site any any input I can.

A little bit about myself.....First of all, I can't type and my grammar sucks I am in my early 30's and started trading with real money in April when I lost my job. Traded with simustock with a bunch of other guys for fun a few years back.
April was a bad time to get in since everything was at their highs and now they are at their lows....go figure. I have learned a lot very fast in those short months to recoupe most of my losses and hope that 2009 would be a better one than 2008.
Anyway, this is what I am doing for now until I go bust and I LOVE IT!!!!

My Current holdings are:
CHK
APWR
GFI
SOL
GE
FSLR
FCX
PBR

I have been trading in and out of alot of these names including CMI, SWN, APA, and V. I actually just got out of V on 1/7 @57.50 I bought on 12/30 for $50.75 Should keep me and my family up and running for the next 3 months.
