all these pay for pick company's like leeds imo you get the info to late after they have loaded up and they tell there people about the stocks and sell into thier buying. i have talked to people that said yes they had some good picks but more bad ones.

before i move this thread over to 'trading plans' area - will say that a friend asked me to split membership with em back in 04, and granted i had no clue what i was doing back then but none of his picks made any money for us and the ones that did go up didn't go up all that much and took a VERY long time to move so imo not worth it....

There's a million people doing that.....I think it's to pump and dump for their own gain....I don't care what they claim.

I've heard of him but not much else.. personally I'd stay clear of any stock newsletter.. there is bound to be biased information in them if he's investing in the stocks he's mentioning.. if he isn't then they aren't that great of picks.

Pay special attention to any form of a disclaimer stating something to the effect of "We were compensated XXXX shares by XXXX company".. by stock newsletters --> this should always be a red flag.

On a sidenote -- if you were thinking about purchasing a subscription from Leeds.. I suggest purchasing Greencat's CD (lagreenteam.com) first.. besides giving great instructions on how to scan and make great stock picks yourself it teaches you well more than enough TA which would enable you to do the DD on Leeds' picks yourself.. and DD is most important things to do when playing the market imo....never go by just someone's word alone.

Right on man. Gotta love those disclaimers, sure sign of a waste of my time reading whatever they posted.

ALWAYS DO YOUR OWN DD! I've seen so much BS posted on the internet and in forums it makes me ill. That's why SMC is here! We try to cut though the BS and only allow posts that are real. I hope that's why most of you are here!
